Spotify has joined forces with Festicket to launch the Festival Finder service. The new offering leans on data from Spotify accounts to create a custom list of festival recommendations, with the firm also offering tickets, and accommodation options.

UK-based Festicket says the Festival Finder benefits from its extensive database of festivals paired with artist intelligence from the music streaming outfit.

The company has big data plans, saying it is aiming to develop an intelligent engine based on personal tastes to help festival goers. It also expects to tie up with other third parties to boost its offering.
