Tinder under fire for fake ads

The US Federal Trade Commission is suing online dating company Match, owner of Tinder and OKCupid. The regulator alleges that Match deployed fake love interest ads to con consumers into signing up for paid subscriptions.

The FTC says Match used the messaging knowing it originated from scammers.
