Netflix goes interactive
Streamer Netflix is looking to release its first interactive video before the year-end. A number of projects are in the pipeline but one early debut will be sci-fi series Black Mirror.
Audiences will be able to opt for different storylines in both television episodes episode or films. Netflix has already added interactive storytelling features to two children’s titles, Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale and Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile and this is its first foray beyond the kinds genre.
The company says that being an online company enables its to innovate new formats and learn from the experiences.
