Leaving Brexit London

One in five London firms have moved/considered moving over the past 12 months due to Brexit, rent increases or business rate rises. In fact, 22% of businesses looked at moving to a different part of London or out of the capital altogether because of Brexit concerns, according to a survey conducted by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“Unless businesses see serious progress in trade talks, which have already been delayed, it is not unlikely that we could see this figure translate into even bigger losses for London and, indeed, the UK,” says Colin Stanbridge, chief executive of the chamber.
