King's Google

Google last night won council approval to build a new campus alongside its existing UK offices in London’s King’s Cross. The company has been dithering over the building and the latest designs replace earlier plans for the same site.

The new-build will host around 5,000 workers, many of whom are expected to be pretty sporty – the 93,000 square metre building will boast a garden and 200 metre-long exercise trail on the roof, a three-lane swimming pool, games area for basketball, football or badminton, plus massage and exercise studios.

Plus, Google is promising lots of space for wild flowers.
