Environment-conscious 18-to-24 year-olds are the leading UK searchers online for the term ‘Tesla’. On the downstream-traffic side, Tesla seekers are heading to media outlets such as The Verge and Alphr to read up on the EVs, as well as visiting YouTube, according to the latest metrics from Hitwise.
And in July, Hitwise found a huge 345% in UK searches for the brand new ‘Tesla Model 3’.
One of the biggest queries around electric cars is, ‘what electric cars are available in the UK?’, suggesting Brits are exploring which cars they can buy. Those likely to purchase include 45-to-54 year-old men, a demographic also found to visit dealership and manufacturer sites, such as those from Nissan Motor UK, BMW UK.
