Time to sub that car

Here comes another ‘mobility as a service’ offering as car rental outfit Enterprise moves into vehicle subscriptions. The company has just launched its Subscribe with Enterprise service in the US covering full-size and premium cars, small and mid-sized SUVs, and light duty trucks.

There’s a minimum commitment of just two months and the Subscribe with Enterprise product includes up to 3,000 miles per month, along with vehicle maintenance, roadside assistance, and damage and liability protection.

German start-up Vehiculum recently unveiled a new offering with supermarket chain Aldi to provide a Fiat 500 for just €89 per month. The company is in talks with China’s Aiways which is looking to launch a subscription-based electric car in Europe.
