Brexit boycott hits London

A so-called Brexit boycott saw 750,000 fewer visitors from European Union countries to London last year. Close to 7.7m people from the EU came to the UK capital in the first nine months 2017, down 9% on the same period in 2017, according to the Office for National Statistics.

The number of foreign visits to the UK fell 3% to 10.8m, while spending fell 15% to £7.2bn.
