Publishers blocked

UK publishers will see a revenue loss of £2.9 billion in 2017 due to ad blocking, up 15% on last year’s £2.5 billion loss, according to OnAudience.com metrics. The market has one of the highest ad blocking rates in the world, with close to 40% of users leaning on the technology.

While UK ad blocking usage is largely in line with the rest of Europe, just 26% of US online users block digital advertising.
