Advertising is coming to Uber cars. US start-up Firefly is operating ‘situationally aware’ digital smart screens mounted to vehicles to enable gig economy workers to up their shift earnings.
The average driver on Firefly’s geo-targeting platform generates an additional $300 per month in, effectively adding 20% more profit to their drive time, according to the company.
Right-on Firefly ensures that minimum of 10% of all inventory goes to promote and advertise local not-for-profits, public sector agencies and other non-commercial entities such as charities, advocacy groups, and community organisations.
