China remains the world leader in electric vehicles with close to 1m now on the road. Three-quarters of those are full-on battery-electric vehicles, while 95% of all EVs sold are Chinese, according to the electro-mobility report from the Center of Automotive Management.
US growth is also pretty healthy, with EV registrations spiking 84% over the last month. The driver, of course, is Tesla, with the company’s Model 3 accounting for 37% of all registrations.
Norwegians keep on opting for electric. Almost half of all vehicles sold in the company are electric, and Norway is the world’s third largest market for EVs.
