Not so civil Brexit

UK civil servants have left the Cabinet Office and Whitehall in droves since Brexit, with the state needing to fill 8,000 posts as the planned exit from the EU puts a strain in resources needed for the daily business of government, reports The Guardian.

Staff turnover at the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has more than doubled since 2010. While over at UK Export Finance, hugely important to the country’s future outside Europe, the churn rate has tripled.
