US talent and literary agency APA is launching Beverly Drive Press, an digital book publishing business, together with Argo Navis, the e-publishing unit of Perseus Book Group. Beverly Drive Press will enable APA to coordinate marketing across multiple platforms, including social media, and to offer clients a ‘streamlined path’ to publishing for first projects difficult to sell to traditional publishers, says The Hollywood Reporter. First works to come out under the new imprint will include Skinny White Freak by actor Paul Haddad, Pangaea from screenwriter Jake Wade Wall and Sixteen by screenwriter Sean Hood.
